Raised on a small fishing village near Ul'Dah, they were raised by a family of poor fishermen. Due to famine and missfortune, they sold him to a cult of Ifrit, the fire primal, as a sacrifice. A ritual gone wrong made him heavily aspected by fire aether, and found himself running in a ship to Kugane. A ship intercepted by the Confederacy no less, which he ended up joined and rising the ranks, from sailor to quartermaster. Retiring from a life of piracy, he settled down back in Ul'Dah, where he offers his services to trading companies, doubling down as an avid venue enjoyer.
